The Lady Panthers completed their home schedule last night, defeating Bryn Mawr 3-2 on Senior Night. Six seniors and the team manager were honored prior to the game.

Ms. Allison Williams introduced each of the seniors — Colleen Blasko, Alex Eubanks, Trinity Thomas, Esperanza Tyler, Olivia Mitchell, and CY Roberts — each accompanied by parents and siblings, were escorted to center court. Most were carrying flowers, fighting back tears amidst the cheers from the packed gymnasium.

Once the ceremonies were over, the team took the court, facing a competitive opponent. They appeared over-matched in the first set before rallying to make the second game a closer contest. Still, down two game,s the team needed to come back and win.

The JV team was defeated 2-1 prior to the evening’s main event.
