
The boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams both had home games at Blandair field on Thursday, March 14. Both teams played very hard and put in so much effort to contribute to their wins.
The season for both teams has been off to a great start and they’re both undefeated.
The girls defeated conference rival Indian Creek 10-9 in a hot battle. This is the first win over Indian Creek the girls’ team has had in awhile. The coaches were very proud of the girls hard work on and off the field. Senior Quai Skeete-Ridley, Sophomore Ally Miller, and Senior Jayda Robertson contributed to the team’s victory.
The boys had their first win of the season over Parkdale 18-1. Sophomore Ethan Rinker had 6 goals and 2 assists, Senior Dante Hooker had 5 goals and 1 assist. Ryan Saunders had 4 goals and 1 assist, Senior Tyler Rhodes had 2 goals and 2 assist, Junior Alonzo Banks had 1 goal, and Junior Zion Coleman had 4 saves between the pipes.
