Tis the Season for Advent Food Drive to help Laurel

The Advent Food Drive is a time at Pallotti where students donate non-perishable items. It begins on Monday and ends on December 17. It benefits the local homeless shelters in Laurel during the winter Christmas season.

Students are able to make cash donations. It would highly be appreciated, as well, if students spread the word about the food drive to their friends and families so this year can be a great success for Pallotti and those in need.

This is an annual Pallotti tradition and it is successful every year. Jessica Haning, director of campus ministry said, “It’s my first year at Pallotti, so I want to carry on the tradition of the food drive and make it great. I’m really looking forward to it and I think it will be successful yet again this year.”

There will be boxes around Pallotti labeled for items being donated to the drive. The more items you bring the better. It’s for a good cause.
