On Wednesday, the Boy’s Track and Field team traveled to McDonough for the championships. Though placing sixth in the race, they came off the track with a memorable achievement. Seniors Owen Wilson and Malik Hamilton took part of this victory as this is their last time running outdoor track for their high school career.
“I’m a little bummed I didn’t start running track my freshman year, but it was fun while it lasted and I can at least say I was apart of a great program,” Hamilton said. He just began running track the winter of his senior year.
Wilson said, “This year might have been one of the best years of my four years here at Pallotti. I was able to set a few school records in a season that’s all that matters.”
The relay consisting of seniors Malik Hamilton, Owen Wilson, junior Niles Daniels, and freshman Efosa, ran a time of 8:47:20.
Our Girl’s Track and Field team traveled to Howard Community College on Thursday to participate in their championships. The two teams will reunite on Saturday to complete their final day of championships.
